Dora Faye (Rhpodes) Hampton

Dora Faye Hampton, 67 of Nokomis passed away Friday evening at 10:20 pm in St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, Illinois. 

Dora the daughter of Eldon E. and Mary Ann ( Porter)  Rhodes  was born May 20, 1951 in Hillsboro, Illinois. She attended school for 10 years and was a C N A. and was of the Baptist faith.

She married Bill Hicks and then married James Hampton. She is survived by children Jason (Kay)Rhodes and James (Dana Brown) Hampton all of Nokomis and Brandy (John Jones) Myers of Witt, grandchildren Shelby Corpin, Kourtney Rhodes, Kayla Ann Hampton, great grandchildren Mila Rhodes and Elijah Stokes and a sister Marilyn (Tom Sommerlott)Tucker of Oconee.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 3, at 11:00 am in Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home , Nokomis.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services with burial in Nokomis Cemetery.
