Donna Sue Clayton

Donna Sue Clayton, age 89, of Nokomis, Illinois, passed away on February 3, 2026, at Prairie Rose Health Care Center in Pana, Illinois.

Donna was born on October 14, 1936, in Hillsboro, Illinois, the daughter of Chester Pocock and Pearl (Pray) Pocock.

She was married to Carl Clayton, who preceded her in death on December 4, 2002. Donna was a homemaker throughout her life.

Private graveside services will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Nokomis Cemetery in Nokomis, Illinois, with Dylan Goldsmith officiating. Interment will follow at Nokomis Cemetery.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl Clayton; her sisters, Marietta Jean Johnson and Doris Sorrels; her niece and nephews, Merle Clayton, Julie Blazich, Loren Johnson, and Brian Johnson, and brother in laws Dale (Lavonne) Clayton and Warren (Mary) Clayton.

She is survived by her nephews and nieces, Lynn Johnson of Fillmore, Illinois, and Morris Johnson of Nokomis, Illinois, Glen Clayton kingfisher of Oklahoma, Kenneth clayton of Coffeen, Illinois,
Olin (Barb)Clayton Raymond Il, Anita (Loy) Wahlsmith Springville, TN, Yvonne Hicks of Pana, Illinois Jim (Lori) Clayton Raymond, Illinois, Lester (Darla)Clayton Irving, Illinois, Gail ( Dave) Bradshaw Witt, Illinois, Jan (Brain) Volentine Litchfield, Illinois.
