Dolores A. Bensko

Dolores A. Bensko, 94, of Witt passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation in Taylor Springs.

Dolores was born May 15, 1929, in Witt, the daughter of Michael and Mary (Bourey) Bensko. She was a member of St. Barbara’s Catholic Church in Witt until its closure and was a current member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Nokomis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, John Bensko, Mary Fedele, Michael Bensko, Margaret Bensko, Martha Bensko, Josephine Hutchins, and Raymond Bensko.

Dolores is survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews, and great-great-great nieces and great-great-great nephews who loved her dearly; and a host of friends who she genuinely cared for.

Visitation & Funeral Mass: The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at the St. Louis Catholic Church, 311 S. Elm Street, Nokomis, IL 62075.  The funeral mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Michael Meinhart officiating.

Interment will follow mass at St. Barbara’s Catholic Cemetery in Witt.
