Delores May Stolte, 83, of Nokomis, died on Sunday, January 30th, 2022, at Taylorville Memorial Hospital. She was born December 9th, 1938, in Nokomis, to John Stolte and Grace (Altevogt) Stolte. She went to Nokomis schools. She cleaned houses, did ironing, and babysat for tons of family members. She was a longtime member at First Baptist Church in Nokomis. She enjoyed watching Randy Orton on wrestling. She also loved watching Days of Our Lives. She enjoyed cooking for her family and taking care of her bird. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. She is survived by two sisters Norma Porter of Nokomis and Linda Zupanci of Nokomis, Two children Dale Lee Stolte and Lisa Marie Stolte both of Nokomis. Six grandchildren Dale Stolte Jr and Della Stolte of Litchfield, Katrina Silvy of Witt, Daniel Oakley Jr. and MacKenzie Oakley of Nokomis, Miranda Silvy of Witt, Dustin Oakley and Heather Oakley of Irving, Cheyenne Overla and Ricky Overla of Nokomis. Seven great grandchildren Deven Stolte, Sophia Overla, Isabella Wicker, Cooper Oakley, Dominic Stolte, Maddlynn Oakley and Grace Stolte. Several Nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Earl Stolte Sr., and sister Irene Morris. She was a loving and caring
woman and will be missed by many.
