David L. Carroll

David L. Carroll, 85 of Oconee, formerly of Ohlman & Nokomis passed Friday, January 19, 2018 in Nokomis Rehab & Healthcare.

David the son of Adron W. "Davey" Carroll and Hilda Geiss Carroll was born July 7, 1932 in Nokomis.  He married Judith Lamb April 18, 1959 in Hillsboro, She passed January 31, 2003. He is survived by daughters Denise(Rick) Huddleston of Oconee and Barbara(Chuck) Kiser of Pana, grandchildren Jody Meyer, Stacy Chance, Jessica Marley, Heather Marley and Rachael Marley, sister Betty Bailey of Nokomis, brothers Ted of Vandalis, Bill of Gays, Bob of Nokomis and Chuck of Litchfield. He was precded by his parents, wife and a sister Harriet Stauder.

David was a lineman for CIPS then Ameren, attend Nokomis Schools and was an Army veteran.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 am in Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home, Nokomis with Bert Eickhoff officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service, burial in Nokomis Cemetery with military rites by Waples-Bauer Post 94, Nokomis American Legion.  Memorials to the heart fund or the Diabetes Fund
