Dale E. Calame

Dale E. Calame 80 of Witt, Illinois passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019 at St. John's Hospital,Springfield, Illinois.

Dale the son of Shirley E. Calame and Zella P. Bassham Calame was born December 3, 1938 in Witt, Illinois. He married Brenda J. Sanders, March 30, 1963 in Pana, Illinois. They had a daughter Jodi Calame who died March 17, 1997 and a son Lynn Calame who died August 3, 2013. He is survived by his wife Brenda, grand sons Cole Calame and Ian Redman, a sister Delores ( husband Norm ) Bafunno of Chesterfield, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, daughter and a sister Betty Bohannon.

Dale was a farmer, high school graduate, a member of the Moose and the Rountree Gun Club.

Funeral Services (Casual Attire Requested) will be Wednesday June 5, 2019 at 10:30 am in Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home, Witt with burial in St. John's Cemetery, Irving, IL.  Visitation will be Tuesday June 4, from 5 to  8 pm in the funeral home.
