Obituary
Creighton “Creig” Rudy Prosser, 79, of Coalton passed away Friday, May 26, 2023, at his residence.
No services are planned and cremation rites will be accorded. Stiehl Dawson Funeral Home of Nokomis is assisting the family.
Mr. Prosser was born May 15, 1944 in Passaic, New Jersey to Rudolph Otto and Ethel (Tarr) Prosser. He was a high school graduate and went on to attend 2 years of college. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and proudly served his country serving in the Tet Offensive in Viet Nam. Mr. Prosser was a Fleet Manager for Care Ambulance for over 12 years. He and Connie Bradley were united in marriage on June 11, 1966 in California and she survives.
Creig loved riding motorcycles and was an avid outdoorsman, having boated and fished at San Pedro, California.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Preston Patrick (Heidi) Prosser and Garret Andrew Prosser both of Bend, Oregon; grandchildren, Scarlett Prosser, Grayson Prosser, Peyton Prosser and Andrew Prosser all of Bend Oregon; sister, Karen Weigand of California, sister-in-law Lynne (Jim) Lennert of California and brother-in-law Jeff (Nancy) Bradley of Nokomis and many nieces, nephews and special friends.Memorials are suggested to Montgomery County Cancer Association, 19 Circle Drive, Litchfield, IL 62056.
