Charles R King

Charles R. King, 90, of Witt passed away Friday, July 22, 2022 in Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign.

Services for Mr. King will be held Wednesday July 27, 2022 at Stiehl Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis at 10:30 AM with Pastor Jay Martin officiating.  Burial will follow at Bost Hill Cemetery in Coffeen.  Visitation will be Tuesday, July 26, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.   

Charles R. King was born July 22, 1932 to Charlie and Maude (Duncan) King in Springfield, Illinois.  He served his country in the US Navy after graduation from high school.  He married Rosalie Hadley and she survives.  Mr. King  was employed by the C & IM Railroad as a brakeman and conductor.

In addition to his wife, Rosalie he is survived by his daughter Lesa (Doug) Bergeron of Mason City and brother Lee E (Billie) King of Venice, FL. 

Memorials are suggested to the Farmingdale Presbyterian Church
