Beverly Glennis (Hicks) Carroll

Beverly Glennis Carroll, 83, of Coalton passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at Memorial Medical Center with family by her side.

Funeral services for Mrs. Carroll will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 1 PM at Stiehl Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis, Illinois.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 AM to 1 PM, prior to services.

Mrs. Carroll was born September 20, 1939 to William and Marguerite (Mosely) Hicks in Hillsboro, Illinois.  She and Marvin Carroll were married December 2, 1956 and he preceded her in death on October 20, 2020.  Mrs. Carroll was a member of the Jimmy Swaggart Ministries.  She loved to bake cakes and make “Nana” cookies for her family.  She enjoyed crocheting and was an avid competitor in board games.  Her great love were her pets, Cricket her dog and her cats, Misty and Sami Jo. 

Mrs. Carroll is survived by her daughter, Vicki (David) Fleming of Hillsboro; grandchildren Joshua (Laura) Fleming of Coffeen and Shayla (Mike) Glenn of Springfield; grandchildren Brooklyn Fleming and Caleb Fleming.  She was preceded in death by her siblings Virginia Murkins and Ralph Hicks.
