Betty Ann Smalley

Betty A. Smalley, 86, of Nokomis passed away Sunday February 6, 2022 at Hillsboro Healthcare, Hillsboro, Illinois.  The daughter of Kenneth B. and Rosetta (Vance) Lyerla she was born November 24, 1935 in Hillsboro. She married Wayne "Crunch" Smalley  November  23, 1956 in Raymond, IL. He passed away July 26, 2013.  She is survived by son, Donald (Connie) Smalley of Nokomis and daughters, Shelly (Dale) Lynch of Chatham and Amy (Todd) Knodle of Fillmore, 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.  Betty was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Brenda Cordani, siblings Terry Singler, Harold Lyerla and Lois Stone. Betty was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church of Nokomis.   Betty had been cared for by Marilyn Carver.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 12, at 11:00 am in Stiehld-Dawson Funeral Home, Nokomis with visitation from 9:00 to 11:00 am with burial In Nokomis Cemetery
