Wilma E. Hagemeier 96, of Nokomis passed away Friday, May 24, at 6:47 p.m. in Nokomis Rehab & Healthcare, Nokomis, Illinois.  The daughter of Walter E. Schweizer and Edna L. Engelhart Schweizer, Wilma was born August 16, 1922 in Witt, Illinois. She married Orlan F. Hagemeier February 17, 1943.  He passed January 25, 2013.  She is survived by children Joyce (Larry) Fesser of Farmersville, IL, Nancy (Jack) DeWerff of Nokomis, Jim (Nancy) Hagemeier of Taylorville, IL, grandchildren Susan (husband Larry) Krumholz of Eureka, Mark (wife Tara) Fesser of O'Fallon, MO, Rachelle (husband Adam) McDowell of Nokomis, Julie (husband Joe) Bruso of Rochester,  Michael DeWerff of Nokomis, Craig Hagemeier of Chicago and Leah (husband Brandon) Davis of Rochester; 14 great grandchildren, Brad, & Katie Krumholz, Aaron & Olivia Bruso, Alexis & Austin McDowell, Derek, Taylor & Jacqueline Fesser, Gabrielle, Kennedy & Maddison DeWerff and Elise & Lila Davis, sister Alberta Quattlander brothers Melvin (Delores) Schweizer & Charles Schweizer. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a sister Alice Schweizer and a grandaughter Sheila Fesser

Wilma was a farmwife,member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid and the LWML

Funeral services will be held Saturday June 1, 2019 at 12 noon in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Nokomis with Pastor Christen Prumm officiating. Visitation will be from 10 am to 12 noon at the church.  Burial in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery.

My condolences to the family of Wilma Hagemeier. She had a long and wonderful life which is cause to celebrate her life as well as mourn her passing.
